Tai Chi entails a series of smooth and flowing movements that promote health benefits for anyone, leading to a harmonious balance between mind and body. Research has shown that the long-established practice of Tai Chi is a fantastic form of exercise that develops muscular strength, improves circulation, boosts immune functioning, increases vitality, while working on flexibility and improving coordination and balance. Qigong – the management of vital energy. Qigong utilises breathing, posture, movement and/or sound to cleanse, refine, accumulate and circulate energy in the body. It is recognised as a method of improving health and fitness. Benefits include better resistance to disease, preventing imbalances and dysfunctions and development of a clear, tranquil state of mind that helps to reduce stress. You will learn simple techniques that can be easily incorporated in your daily routine. Once learned, the routines can be practised anywhere and is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
